Goshenite is a pure, colorless form of Beryl first found in the town of Goshen, Massachusetts. It is sometimes coated with a green foil to resemble an Emerald.

Goshen is a hard, transparent gemstone. It is found in regions of North and South America (especially Colombia), Northern Europe, East Africa, South Africa, and in the Himalayas.
